Citizen
Information Center
The
Citizen Information Center provides the citizens of Arizona information
about upcoming elections, voter registration, voting information
and other government referrals.
During the election season the calls to the office are
numerous and in order to serve those callers more efficiently
and effectively an additional line and toll free number is necessary.
The number would be advertised extensively to allow callers
anywhere in the state free access to information about the election
and their government. Additional staff will be hired to handle these calls and volunteers
will be recruited to assist with the workload.
Funding Needed: for phone charges, additional line, additional
part time staff member and advertising.

Democracy Net
The
League of Women Voters has a political website called .
This political web-site is dedicated to reconnecting Americans
with their political system in an open non-partisan community.
The League of Women Voters of Arizona Education Fund will
contact candidates, secure their participation and maintain the
commitment that the site will be rigorously non-partisan.
The League will also conduct a public information campaign
so that voters, young and old, across the state will be able to
access information about candidates and their stands on critical
